The first and key part of the recruitment process is to clarify your requirements. Typically this would involve meeting with the relevant managers on site - most importantly to fully understand the specifics of the role - but also to get a real feel for the cultural ethos of your company, and the personalities involved. 

If a strong database candidate is available, you'll be told. This can offer a quicker and more cost-effective solution. Otherwise a full proposal will be prepared for you, recommending either advertised selection , headhunt search, or potentially a combination of the two.
